Cisco said Weston's responsibilities will encompass Cisco's business operations across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Gulf, Levant and Turkey. He will report directly to Duncan Mitchell, Cisco's senior vice president for the Emerging Theatre.
Mitchell said: "Mike is a real asset to Cisco's leadership team in our emerging theatre and I am confident in his ability to build on Cisco's significant and successful operations in the region, as well as his leadership to take our business to the next level. We have a highly skilled, professional and talented team committed to the success of the region, our customers and our partners. His breadth of technology experience will be invaluable as we continue to implement life changing networks."

The business value to be gained through IoE presents an incredible opportunity for technology growth and innovation. I look forward to working with the team to help accelerate Cisco's growth by supporting our employees, customers and partners throughout the region."
Weston has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of how to lead successful business operations in both major and growth geographical markets.
